Communities
Look at your community today. Imagine how
you want it to look several years from now. Is there a way to bring
together your community’s hopes and dreams into one shared vision? The
Minnesota Design Team (MDT) Visit is a way of helping to making that happen.
Since 1983 the MDT has visited more than 100 communities, working with them to develop their shared visions.
Creating a shared vision begins when a community realizes that no
one person or group can know the best course of action. When your
community requests a Design Team visit, it sets out to involve all
segments of the community and as many people as possible, including
school children, elders, as well as farmers and others who use the
services in your community.
The visit brings everyone’s ideas together into one shared vision of
a sustainable future. It also shows how ideas become reality.
