Community application review
The MDT receives several applications from communities interested in MDT Visits each year. Experienced MDT members review each application, present their findings, and help facilitate the review discussion at MDT Membership Meetings.
Coming Soon: Click here if you are interested in reviewing an application.
MDT screening visit
After a community's application has been reviewed, a few MDT members visit the community for a screening visit to help the community understand more about what is involved in an official MDT Visit.
Coming Soon: Click here if you are interested in participating on a screening visit.
MDT visit team member
Members can participate on MDT Visits to Minnesota communities. Usually, the MDT visits two communities in the spring and two in the fall each year. Join a team of 12-20 volunteers for an intensive, charrette-style weekend
of learning, sharing, and developing ideas for the community's future based on their
shared vision. Coming Soon: Click here if you are interested in joining a team.
MDT visit team leader
MDT members with Visit experience can be team leaders. Two to three team leaders work together as co-leaders on each Visit. Team leaders help communities prepare for the Visit, assemble the design team for the Visit, and facilitate the Visit weekend process.
Coming Soon: Click here if you are interested in becoming a team leader.
MDT general leadership
The MDT Executive Committee helps guide the MDT. The committee includes the outgoing, current, and incoming chair, AIA liaison, treasurer, communications director, and other experienced advisors.
